Word of the Year…Surrender (revisited)

Happy New Year’s Eve. This year has been amazingly awesome – just like the God I/we serve. I have learned and experienced a lot in 12 short months – more than I could or would have ever imagined.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of The Kingdom Chick blog! Amen! I pray that something I have written has blessed you in some small way AND brought glory to God.

My 2012 word of the year was surrender. This year, I have made conscious efforts to surrender, so HE is free to flow. Surrender is an extreme act of trust in God. This year I have purposed to surrender to God’s will for my life by letting Go and letting God do what he does (without any interference from me.) 🙂 I am not where I need or want to be, but I am becoming better at surrendering each day. In a few weeks, my website http://www.AKingdomCreation.com will launch. Because of that and so many other wonderful things in my life, I am awestruck by God’s amazing grace. So, it seemed fitting that my 2014 word of the year be PRAISE (more on that in the coming days).

I’m off to watch night service. See ya next year!

Peace & Blessings,

P.S. A Kingdom Creation is a brand that provides decoration and party favors for life’s milestones or just because. The newest (and most popular) products are the Sugarcoated Line – sugar scrubs, soaps and lip balms.

P.P.S. I have added a new recipe – Crawfish Cornbread – the first one in months. Check it out here.

  1. I like praise.
I tend to complain too much about the life circumstances that are hard to deal with,
    so surrender will be harder.
I like your sugar scrubs. They smell so good!

    • Complaining is human nature. But, it is good that you realize that you complain and are working to change. Everything in life is a daily process. The goal is just to be a little bit better than the day before. 🙂 That is possible through prayer (as a starting point). Peace and blessings.
